Chocolate-Covered Figs with Sea Salt Recipe

Dried figs are a sweet treat by themselves, but dip them in chocolate and sprinkle them with sea salt and you have a mouth-watering gift you won’t want to put down. Buy your own fig tree and make these straight from your backyard!

Servings: 12

Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate bar
  • 12 dried figs
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Instructions:

First, break the chocolate bar into pieces and melt. Then dip the figs into the melted chocolate while holding on by the stem. Once dipped, transfer the chocolate-covered figs to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt while the chocolate is still soft. Serve immediately or allow the chocolate to cool. If you are making these as a holiday gift, make sure the chocolate has hardened before packaging.
