Ingredients:
- 1/2 French baguette sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 ounces goat cheese
- 4 fresh figs, sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 lb of prosciutto
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 320°F while you cut the figs into thin slices and brush the bread slices with the olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
Place the bread slices in the oven for 3 minutes or until they get golden.
Remove from the oven. Rub a peeled clove of garlic onto the toasted bread to give it flavor, then discard.
Let the bread cool for a couple of minutes, then spread goat cheese over the slices and drizzle with honey. Bake for 5 minutes or until the goat cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and place 1-2 pieces of prosciutto and top that with thin slices of figs.
Sprinkle lightly with fresh ground pepper and serve immediately.
